Scope of Supply<\/strong><\/p>

The supply includes the provision of research services, configuration, parameterisation, testing and commissioning Protection Relays the Combined Cycle Power Plant, Luanda Refinery, connection of a 60kV line connecting the substation of Cacuaco, lines of 60kV interconnection between existing substation and new CCRL, two transformers of 60\/11kV, two transformers of 11\/15kV, 9 cells to 11kV and 5 cells to 15kV.<\/p>

Integration of all protection relays in the command and control system ABB (DCS).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

System Description<\/strong><\/p>

The configuration and testing scope included the following equipment:<\/p>

  • 14 Protection Relays EFACEC TPU S220, to the cells of 11kV and 15kV;<\/li>
  • 5 Protection Relays EFACEC TPUS220 for 60kV lines, interconnection and Bus Protection;<\/li>
  • 2 Protection Relays ABB RED615 Differential;<\/li>
  • 1 Protection Relay ABB RED670 in 60kV lines (Distance Protection);<\/li>
  • 2 Protection Relay EFACEC TPU TD420 for Transformers 60\/11kV;<\/li>
  • 2 Protection Relay EFACEC TPU TD420 for Transformers 11\/15kV;<\/li>
  • Integration of all protection relays in the command and control system ABB (DCS)<\/li><\/ul>

    Description of Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The ENGIPROT<\/strong> team was responsible for performing factory configurations, carrying out on-site testing, and cooperating with ABB technicians to integrate the protection relays into the ABB Control Centre (DCS). All configurations and parameter settings were adapted to meet the client\u2019s required functionalities.<\/p>

    On-site, the ENGIPROT team carried out all functional tests of the protection functions and the commissioning of all medium-voltage cubicles, as well as the 60 kV ones, in the presence of EFACEC Engenharia supervisors, using an OMICRON 356 secondary testing device.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Benefits for the Client<\/strong><\/p>

    By including ENGIPROT<\/strong> in the testing and commissioning team, EFACEC<\/strong> ensured that tests were carried out in parallel with the remaining commissioning activities of the installation, allowing for a reduction in the project\u2019s overall completion time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
