Scope of Supply<\/strong><\/p>

System Description<\/strong><\/p>

The objective of the project is to improve voltage levels in the regions of Camama, Futungo de Belas, Cacuaco, Filda, Cassaque, and the Economic Zone through the installation of capacitor banks.<\/p>For that, was defined 8 substations where are installed 14 capacitor banks of 10 MVAr at 60 kV, and 5 substations where are installed 10 capacitor banks of 5 MVAr. The substations where capacitor banks are installed already exists, so it is required to extend systems of different manufacturers and generations.<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Description of Activities<\/strong><\/p>

The ENGIPROT<\/strong> team was responsible for the management and complete execution of the engineering for the supply of the protection, command, and control system for the capacitor banks.<\/p>

The project was developed from the ground up, with the following main tasks:<\/p>

  • Design of the protection, command, and control solution<\/li>
  • Engineering documentation<\/li>
  • Electrical design of the protection, command, and control panels<\/li>
  • Configuration and factory testing of the equipment (FAT tests)<\/li>
  • On-site commissioning (SAT tests)<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Benefits for the Client<\/strong><\/p>

    For the direct client, by awarding a turnkey engineering service to ENGIPROT<\/strong>, internal resources were freed up for other projects, thereby increasing response capacity and business volume.<\/p>
