System Description<\/strong><\/p>

CorPower Ocean<\/strong> is a Swedish company that develops wave energy projects, whose new resonant Wave Energy Converter (WEC) is in the final stages of testing, demonstration, and certification.<\/p>

Stage 4 of the demonstration and certification of the full-scale C4 WEC unit prototype will take place off the coast of Agu\u00e7adoura, Viana do Castelo, Portugal.<\/p>

Description of Activities<\/strong><\/p>

The ENGIPROT<\/strong> team was responsible for the following tasks related to the ABB REF 620, which will implement the electrical protections of the WEC:<\/p>

  • Review of the configuration and improvement suggestions;<\/li>
  • Parameterisation of protection functions according to the client\u2019s requirements;<\/li>
  • Testing of protection functions;<\/li>
  • Test protocol and report.<\/li><\/ul>

    As the selected ABB REF 620 uses Low Voltage Sensor Inputs for current and voltage measurements, ENGIPROT<\/strong> built a specialised testing kit for this work.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
