Scope of Supply
The scope of supply included the provision of study, configuration, parameterisation, and commissioning testing services for EDP of the Protection Relays associated with the 800 kVA and 1000 kVA transformers, installed at the Quinta da Bomba–Corroios WWTP.
System Description
The configuration and testing scope included the following equipment:
- 2 Medium Voltage Protection Relays, WIC1-2.
Activity Description
The ENGIPROT team was responsible for analysing the existing protection relay configurations and adapting them to the functionalities required by the end client. In addition, the team carried out a parameterisation study of the equipment and performed its configuration. On-site, the ENGIPROT team conducted all functional tests on the protection functions and commissioning tests on the Protection System, in the presence of an EDP Distribuição supervisor, using an Omicron CMC 256 plus secondary testing device.

By involving ENGIPROT in the configuration, parameterisation, and commissioning tests of the protection relays, EUROVOLT secured expertise outside its main area of activity, thereby enabling the development of “turnkey” solutions.
