ENGIPROT is an engineering solutions and service provider company, specialising in Equipment and Infrastructure for Energy Transmission and Distribution, with an emphasis on Control and Protection Systems in Very High, High, and Medium Voltage power networks.

The company provides consultancy services, studies, engineering solution development, integration, configuration and testing of systems and equipment, factory testing, commissioning testing, maintenance, training, and turnkey solutions.

History

A journey of innovation, growth, and commitment.

ENGIPROT began its activity in 2010, founded by engineer André Salvado, who already had over 13 years of experience in protection, control, and command systems across different markets and regions.

2010

ENGIPROT quickly began to gain expertise and recognition among its key clients. In its early years, most of its projects were in international markets, mainly in energy transmission and distribution networks, which allowed the company to build a team with extensive skill and experience.

2015

In 2017, with the growth of the team, it became necessary to move to new premises, establishing the company’s headquarters in Carnaxide, Oeiras, where it remains to this day.

2017

In 2020, due to the pandemic (COVID-19), ENGIPROT had to adapt to the disruption of work abroad, shifting to other back-office services. It was during this phase that consulting, design, and study services were strengthened, responding to market needs. These services are now a benchmark in the national market.

2020

In 2021, the team was strengthened with additional expertise in the conventional power plant sector, expanding the company’s market offering and earning the trust of more clients.

In 2023, with the continued growth of the team and the company’s expansion, a new office was opened in Amora, Seixal.

In 2025, the business development division was created, dedicated to monitoring market trends. This division is also responsible for promoting ENGIPROT’s capabilities to various industry players and driving a stronger commercial presence.
