Scope of Supply
The scope of supply included the provision of study, configuration, parameterisation, and commissioning testing services for EDP of the Protection Relay associated with the 400 kVA transformer, installed at the new Continente Bom Dia – Santiago do Cacém.
System Description
The configuration and testing scope included the following equipment:
- 1 Medium Voltage Protection Relay, Fanox SAI-B.
Activity Description
The ENGIPROT team was responsible for analysing the existing protection relay configurations and adapting them to the functionalities required by the end client. In addition, the team carried out a parameterisation study of the equipment and performed its configuration.
On-site, the ENGIPROT team carried out all functional tests on the protection functions and commissioning tests on the Protection System, in the presence of an EDP Distribuição supervisor, using an Omicron CMC 256 plus secondary testing device.
Benefits for the Client
By involving ENGIPROT in the configuration, parameterisation, and commissioning tests of the protection relay, EUROVOLT secured expertise outside its main area of activity, thereby enabling the development of “turnkey” solutions.
