ENGIPROT successfully completed the homologation process of an RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) with REN, applicable to the integration of systems with its Control Centres.
The certified equipment is the iRTUcompact S#31 from iGrid T&D.
This solution will be applicable to power generation plants with a capacity greater than 1 MVA, intensive energy consumers providing Regulation Reserve Band services, or any other electrical system integrated with REN’s Control Centres.
