System Description
Ikea Industry has a 60/15 kV customer substation with a 20 MVA power transformer. The 20 kV network inside the factory is an open ring with four power stations. Each station has several 15/0.4 kV transformers supplying the Low Voltage network.
Ikea Industry is installing a 4.56 MVA rooftop self-consumption photovoltaic system, and the technical audit aimed to assess its impact on the protection system.
Activity Description
The ENGIPROT team was responsible for analysing the current protection system, with emphasis on active protection functions and configurations, as well as the electrical equipment and the High and Medium Voltage network.
Recalculation of protection settings to mitigate the effects of electrical faults.
